Being My Own Boss??? It Sound Good For Me.

It has been two days in a row without posting anything (shame on me) not excuses... (the writing challenge fail)
Ok now to the point, I have been looking for a job from home or something that I can do in my free time to earn some extra money... I have been searching and there's some jobs that I found, I can't do a review because I never work on them... but here there's twojobs that I found and what I think about them.


UBER// Everybody knows UBER, if not, is an app where you go in your car and you give rides to people who is in your way and you get pay for it (like a taxi but cheaper and you technically are doing a "favor" and not working for them)

Pros:   - You manage your own time
            - You are your own boss
            - You get to know people
            - I like to drive
            - Something to do in your free time
            - You can do it with your regular license

Cons:  - It can be dangerous for a woman
            - You don't know who is the person who is going to be in your car
            - Miles
            - You don't know where are you going
            - People can be rude and I'm very spoiled


SHIPT// I just heard of this one a couple of days ago and is about do the grocery shopping for someone, you do this thru an app and you go in your car, buy the stuff and deliver them in theirs home... simple I think. 

Pros:   - Your own boss
            - Earning money in your free time
            - You choose how many hours and when
            - It's shopping (even grocery) I love shopping
            - You are helping people
            - You are not inside of the same place always
            - Is good money (maybe $15-$25 per hour)that's what people say
           
Cons:  - I aplied like two day ago and I din't get an answer yet (I know, I need to be patience)
            - You can get tired after going three or four time in a row to a store
            - I have to used a T-shirt whit their logo (actually the T-shirt is pretty cool)

Interesting? JA! I don't think so... but any way let's just say "Fact About My Self"

*   I started University in Medellín, Colombia (I didn't finish because I wanted to came to USA)
*   I am obsessed with NYC (I know maybe I won't like it when I visit it for the first time)
*   I'm a Dog-Person (I don't hate Cats it's just... )
*   One of my dreams is traveling around the whole world
*   I wan't to be a filmmaker and have my own company
*   I started this blog to improve my english (I am not sure if this is working) :P
*   I have a Nephew and I think He has the purest heart <3 not joking
*   I want to adopt a kid someday
*   I'm pretty sure that I can't do anything without God! He is my strength

 Five Problems About Social Media...

How can you answer that question when you love social media??

Well let's be honest I think everybody likes it or used it to communicate, business or just fun... (everybody has a opinion about it) and I started thinking about the bad things about social media and at the beginning I didn't found anything bad but then things came to my mind, like for example....

ONE// Time Consuming, did you ever try to watch just one Youtube video? "just one more" it's what I say every time... and that's just Youtube

TWO// Less productivity, You wake up early and you start the day with a breakfast and then you only want to know what's going on in Facebook, and you end speaking with your friend, then you start working at you project, and your best friend came with the new picture of someone and 3 hours late you are trying to get back to work... yeah it's hard.

THREE// Vicious Cycle, Please I just notice that I think I can have a problem with social media... I love it too much and sometimes I just can't stop watching the profiles, the pictures, the blogs... Did you ever try to eliminate all your social media from you phone?? I did and guess what it doesn't least one week... (I will change that)

FOUR//  Who are you?, people lost them self on Social Media, you just don't know who is who and you just see a perfect live but is that they really life? :/ and also theres somepeople with who you speak and you don't even know if they are real... and yes I watched catfish ones lol

FIVE// Cyberbully, the worst! I can believe people that still does that! it's incredible! horrible and I think that a lot of people spoke about this already so I won't add anything else.

About Anything You Want - Writing Challenge #7

The first think that comes to mind when someone ask what I want is TRAVEL...

And this is not only fancies trips in luxuries hotels and exotic places, I would like to travel everywhere and one of my dreams is going for a lot of cities here in USA with a van and have a road trip (but if someone gives me a fancy trip I won't say no, actually I think I can planned by my self) the think that I like to explore (no to much into the wild because I'm a little afraid of bugs), I like to understand why we change so much in every city and I don't know like knowing the history behind every street (well not EVERY street but you know...) and see how people live... Also I want to enjoy all the trip and trying to learn from every mistake and every success... Is like going out from my comfort zone...

I have been here in USA for 2.5 year and I have lived in 3 different cities and I think at the end of this year I'm going to move again (to finally go to school) and that fact doesn't bored me at all, actually make me excited evreytime I move...

So yes something I definitely I want to do is travel and more than travel is having an encounter with the cities and the culture... that's what I really want

About Something You Don't Like - Writing Challenge #6

It took me the whole day trying to find out what I don't like, and I didn't realize until I showed out to work today... I DON'T LIKE TO FEEL STUCK IN A PLACE,  if you notice I don't like to use the word "hate" but I almost hate to feel in that way.
I remember year ago I read a quote in a picture... (the picture below)

After reading that something click in me and I felt that I have to get out of Colombia, and since that first step I feel like I have to go for the world... well I think everybody wants that, but I really hope to be one of the few people who end up doing it.
I have to tell that no only is about to change cities, jobs or homes every year, also what I mean is to renew my mind and learning stuff everyday... is like changing the way that I see the world, I don't like to be in the same place (in mind) that I was a year ago or maybe knowing the same that one year ago. When that happen (being in the same place) I start feeling like something is dead and I have to take it out...
Well I can say more and more but basically that's what I don't like...

About Something You Absolutely Love - Writing Challenge #5

Something I love? Mmm I'm going to write about something I like...

Telling Stories.

Who doesn't love that? well maybe not everyone, but telling stories is part of my life... I like to do it through videos, photos, writing and speaking...And yes, I do speak a lot!
I like to think about eveything in different perspective (I like to see behind the courtains) and imagine how the person really is or the history behind every person that I meet and from that create a different world.
I don't know if I'm the only one who while is working start to imagine stories in my mind and is like every "character" start to build his/her own life and I just follow them and I can't stop... I feel weird now lol.
I really love that and I hope to get better in it


 

A letter To Your Future Self - Writing Challenge #4

Hello My Self In Ten Years!

I really hope you read this letter, also I hope that everything you put in your mind is achieve, that most of your dreams became true and especially that you have more dreams and more goals for your future.

I honestly don't care if you have a lot of money or if you don't have too much... I don't care the way that you look now or if you have a cute car or a cute house.... what I really care is if you are happy and if you are in "home" now... and you know what I mean when I say "home" (please be always in home, that's the only think that I ask you for)

I hope that you never forget where you came from, remember always what you went through and don't be too bossy with anyone :P go and visit an old friend, or help somebody that just came from another country or city, always say hello and give some blessings even if they don't say nothing back to you... tell you parents that you love them and tell you nephew that you are proud of him.

A Letter To Anybody - Writing Challenge #3

Dear Friend

It has been years with out seing each other, but I'm pretty sure that the things haven't change well we have change a lot but I meant like our friendship that didn't change to much, and I want to thank you for being strong and support me when I most need it... (I could it die alone :') lol just kidding) thanks because you have being my sister and didn't doubt of me!

Thanks because we probed that the true friendship doesn't die and doesn't matter in what part of the world you are... We are still friends.

Pier 60 - Clearwater, Fl. << Review >>

This is a video-review about Clearwater...

In general it was good, the only think was that we didn't get to see the sunset (my favorite part of the day) because it was cloudy :(

The kids really enjoyed the afternoon and we get to see shows outside like paintings and some people jumping around some of them really good...

To go inside of the Pier yo have to pay $1 usd each and if you are going for fishing I think you have to pay like 5 usd or something...

I definitely have to go back again to watch the sunset :)

Review Movie/Book/Anything - Writing Chanllenge #2

The 5th Wave (Book)

I know is a Teenagers book, but I really enjoyed the book! Is one of my favorites so far.
I read it like a year ago in Spanish, and for Christmas my Mom give me the English version.

I think is the kind of books that you want to finish in one day, you don't want to wait, it has action and keep you thinking what is going to happen next... the thing with this book is that nothing happen in the way that you expect, is not the tipycal aliens book that show you who are the bad guys and then the people get together to fight agins that... this book show you where are supposed to be the bad guys but the really question is, Are they the real enemies? so it's awesome in the way that you brain is trying to find out who are the good ones and what the enemies really want to do... so it's awesome..

I recomend this book to anyone, if you are trying to learn English, read it! you would like it!

PD: Again, my English is not good! I'm trying to improve it thru this blog! :)
PD2: The Movie is coming out really soon and I hope is the same or better than the book.

2016 - Susana Lives in Brandon, FL and she still works in a Store... Bored she wants to start a carreer again (filming and TV)

2009 - She Finished high school!

2007 - Susana lost a year (10 grade)

1999 - Susana thinks that this year is awesome but she doesn't remember why 

2013(a) - She was living in Colombia and she was happy when she moved at the middle of the year to USA

1991- Susana is born in Medellin-Colombia


2015 - Susana lives in Miami at the beginning of the year then she moved to Fort Myers and then to Brandon... She started working in a Store...  She miss University and she miss her career :'(

1993 - Susana Moved with her family to Cartagena (Medellín was too dangerous in that time)


2010 - Susana starts the university in Medellin (Media and Film)

2014 - Susana Lives in Miami... She go to church... She was studying English... She is happy.

1998 - Susana moves back to Medellín with her family and starts school :'(

2013(b) - She quit University to go to USA (it has being her dream becoming true)

Future - She's planning moving to Atlanta and finish University

2011 - She start dreaming with NYC she hopes to live there in the future

Clearwater! Soon...

Today is a great day! is 12 pm and I already get out of work and now I'm looking for a good place to visit with some friend that are visiting us with their kids (lovely kids by the way)... so I start looking for places where we can go and I found out that Clearwater beach is a perfect place to go and watch the sunset!! I'm looking forward to this... Also I found out that Clearwater beach is on the top of the most beautiful beaches in USA... I hope the weather help us today
Also is my sister's birthday! she is in Colombia, so I wont get to see her today... this kind of dates are the hardest for me to be away from my family...but she is having a great time and that make me happy...
I'm going to take pictures and videos... so I can practice more.
in conlusion I'm really happy today :)

Gasparilla Kids 2016 Video

Gasparilla Parade 2016!!

Is the first time that I go to a fest or to a parade in the 2 and a half tears that i have been living here and in my opinion it was good!! but is not the best...
Maybe I didn't enjoyed to much because it was more for kids (there is another one for adults... it seems to be crazier)... to make it short is a festival where people celebrate a pirate?... honestly I don't have idea but is something like they are recreating the invasion of a pirate and his crew who arrive in florida long time ago...

Cool things about the festival or parade

ONE// they throw stuff like coins and necklace to the people... is not too funny when you or your kid get hit by one :p

TWO// the kids really enjoy the time, they play and ther really are into get more and more necklaces... like seriously they want to have a ton of them... and it's cool..

THREE// the other people is nice... I didn't get too see a people drunk or doing inappropiade things... (like I said I was in the one for the kids)...

FOUR// The weater was sooo nicee!!! I love it! it was cold but with the sun (loving Florida for that) you barely feel it!

FIVE// FIREWORKS!!!!!! who doesn't love fireworks?? whoo???.... (Answer: my dog, but I didn't take her with me lol)

SIX// Food.. it was good, my cousin bought a really big hot dog for her kids and they where really happy about it!! it was hugee and they ate it all! and also there was different opions to eat... that was nice too

Well in conclusion I think I was happy to go and I think I'm going next year again... but I'm not crazy about it!

PS: my engllish is not the best (that's why I'm doing this blog)

Resolutions for 2016!

Ok ok I know I'm late with this but I don't care...
I feel like is important for everybody to have resolutions every year, I think is important to project yourself to the future and imagine how is going to be... and start working on it!
well for this year I have a few resolutions that I want to write and at the end of the year read it and see what I did and what I have to chance...

ONE// Resume my Studies (I don't really know how to write that)
I want to go back to school! University, I used to study something like fillming or media! and I'm looking for schools in Atlanta or Chicago where I can graduate, also thats why I'm doing thhis blog... to improve my english ;)

TWO// Read More 
When I say more... I'm thinking at least 12 books this year... maybe thats not to many for you, but for me is a goog start (by the way I used to read like 4 or more books for month...)

THREE// Don't quit at this blog
I really want to improve in a lot of things in my life and I feel like this blog is going to help me in different areas like for example discipline (writing for at least 4 entries for month), my English, to remember stuff and to push my self... even if no one read it lol :) I'm doing this for my self :P

FOUR// Travel
who does't want to do that????? well I already visit my family in Colombia and maybe in February I'm going to visit a University in Atlanta... and for my birthday I'm going to give to my self another little trip to somewhere here in USA... any options?? I'm thinkin New York, but I'm not sure yet


FIVE// Take more pictures and videos
I need to practice ok? and when I say pictures and videos I mean good pictures and good videos... that help me to explore my city which I barely know and to force me to do it find more locations and that means more adventures (I'm someone who enjoy the little things so and adventure will be easy :P)
